If your funnel screenshots are not working, or not generating, there are some steps you can take to solve the issue.
Before reading the rest of this guide you will want to take a minute to check your site status. Please navigate in your WordPress Dashboard to "OptimizePress >> Site Status" and make sure all of the items there are showing a green bullet point.

If any items are showing a yellow or red bullet point, then you'll want to address those. We have more guides on most of the individual site status items that you can find below.

Our team are happy to help look into these as well, but we would require hosting or FTP access.
Funnel Screenshots Not Showing
If you hover over a funnel page in the funnel visualiser and do not see an image at all, but your page has content, simply click the camera icon to regenerate the screenshot.

Then click the Yes button to start the process. If the page is very long this may take some time, however in most cases for short to medium length of pages this shouldn't take much time. For longer pages it could take up to 5 minutes.

There is not a notice for successful image generation, but you should see the image once you hover over the page title like you see here.

If you get any kind of error message or the image is blank, or doesn't show up, then please continue reading this guide.
Funnel Screenshots Not Generating
If you have tried to regenerate funnel screenshots and they are not working, or the image looks like a malformed version of your page (such as without styling), there are a few things you can check.
3rd Party Optimization Plugins
Some 3rd party Optimization plugins may cause some problems with the image generation. We would suggest as part of your troubleshooting process to try deactivating all plugins other than OptimizePress. If the image generation works, then one of your plugins is conflicting. You can then reenable one plugin at a time, and check the screenshot generation after each time you do that - this will narrow down the issue to the specific plugin(s) that are causing the conflict.
If you should find a plugin that caused the issue, you can still use the plugin, but perhaps deactivate for a short time when you want to regenerate any screenshots.
Some plugins to look out for are
- Image Optimization Plugins
- Plugins that change the admin area's loading of scripts
- Cache plugins that cache the admin area (we do not recommend having that turned on).
- Firewall plugins that might be blocking image regeneration scripts
- Plugins that modify how images are handled
Hosting issues
If your hosting on what we call "value hosting" (such as Godaddy, or other cheap shared hosting such as Hostgator or Bluehost) then you may run into hosting limitations even if your site status shows fine as these hosts are generally underpowered and tend to have timeout issues which can not be controlled from any plugin such as OptimizePress.
Some web hosts also have their own optimization or caching mechanisms which can sometimes conflict. You may wish to disable any of those features for a short time and see if you can generate the screenshot.
