I have just purchased and have not received my login information

OptimizePress logins are sent to the email address you provided to us at signup. Please check your junk and spam folders, and also any other filter folders or Gmail "Promotions" folder if you're using the Google Mail Service.

You should look for an email with subject: "Your OptimizePress Product Information"

I have lost my logins

Your OptimizePress 2.0 logins will have been sent to the email address you provided when you purchased. The email subject line will be "Your OptimizePress Product Information". If you cannot find this email, check any junk folders or other email filters.

How to troubleshoot LiveEditor problems:

We recommended using the Firefox web browser (download free here) for editing your pages for best experience. We do not recommend using Safari or Internet Explorer

In most cases where issues are occuring with the LiveEditor, we find this to be caused by conflicts with a plugin or theme running on your site.

Content Disappearing or won't save in LiveEditor:

There are certain circumstances where content may stop saving on a page within WordPress. This is most often due to a limitation that is set within your site/servers PHP settings which limits the maximum number of variables saved to a page. Most of the time when creating normal pages and posts, you would not reach this limit inside WordPress. But when creating longer sales pages and other page types that you might create inside OptimizePress, this limit can be reached, and the result is that content stops saving on a page.

There is a workaround, although you may need to ask your host to help you implement it (this should only need to be done once per site):

Inside your php.ini file, you need to change the setting for the max_input_vars variable (this is normally set to around 1000). We recommend changing this to 9999, so it would look something like this:

max_input_vars = 9999

This should ensure that all variables or content is saved to the database rather than only 1000 variables being passed through. In some rarer cases, with certain hosting we have found that there is another setting which can control this on your server. If you find that the above steps do not help with the issue, you will need to ask your hosting company to set some additional values for something called hardened PHP Suhosin

The variables that need to be set for this are as follows:

suhosin.post.max_vars = 9999

suhosin.get.max_vars = 9999

suhosin.request.max_vars = 9999

suhosin.post_max_array_depth = 500

At this moment, we know that Liquidweb hosting requires this setting, but it’s likely that other hosting companies also use this setting.

We highly recommend asking your hosting company to assist with this to avoid breaking anything on your site as the PHP configuration files can be delicate. I'm afraid this is not something we can change from our side, it must be done by your hosting company.

These two steps should ensure that you longer pages you create inside OptimizePress and WordPress now have no further problems saving.

My API Key is Not Working:

If you're having problems licensing, or receiving invalid license errors this most likely means that your site is not able to communicate with our licensing server.

This sometimes happens because your hosting has blocks or filters in place which are stopping our licensing communications (our software installed on your site sends a request to our server to validate the API key when entered - if this command is blocked from being sent - you will receive an invalid error).

To resolve this, you need to ask your hosting company to whitelist all HTTP communications between your site and our server. We have two different servers used for licensing, both must be licensed.

The IP Addresses to whitelist are:

54.174.238.39
23.23.102.166

The domain for our server is optimizehub.com

Please ask your hosting company to whitelist all HTTP communications and you should then have no further issues.

Please Note: Unfortunately if your hosting/server is blocking communications with our Licensing server, there isn't anything we can do from our side to resolve this issue, it must be fixed by your hosting company as they control these settings.

Error Message Troubleshooting

There are many different potential error messages you may receive on your site. Some come from WordPress, some from OptimizePress and some from your hosting or PHP server.

We've compiled a list of some of the most common error messages we see below, but we highly recommend searching our knowledgebase for the error - just use part of the error or the error number and exclude any reference to your site and search

If you don't find the answer in our knowledgebase or below, please check the box at the bottom of this page and submit a ticket.

General Errors

• Notice: Use of undefined constant OP_SN
• ERR_CONNECTION_RESET when uploading plugin
• Parse Error Syntax Error T_FUNCTION
• Fatal error: Cannot redeclare akismet_fix() Error
• Not Found Process Optin Form Error

OptimizeMember Errors

• Unable to Verify $_POST Vars Error
• ERROR: Unexpected txn_type/status
• Error #36. Transaction failed: Fail to obtain approval for the online transaction
• Clickbank IPN Error 403 (Invalid IPN URL)
• 503: Basic File Downloads are NOT enabled yet

External Theme or Plugin Issues

As I'm sure you can appreciate, our OptimizePress customer base use a wide variety of themes and plugins in combination with OptimizePress. Whilst the majority of these will work without any issues, we do occasionally encounter conflicts where styling or functionality of OptimizerPress is affected by something else running on your site, or where OptimizePress influences a theme or plugin.

In cases where another theme or plugin is affecting OptimizePress, it can be very difficult for us to troubleshoot or fix these issues because we did not develop those external scripts and therefore our developers are not familiar with their code.

Please read the following carefully to help you troubleshoot the issues you may be having:

1. LiveEditor Issues

These are issues with the LiveEditor such as windows not opening or options not working which you find are caused by your theme or plugin. These are most often because of Javascript or CSS styling from your theme/plugin conflicting with codes inside the LiveEditor.

2. Blog Theme Affected by OptimizePress Plugin

If you are using the OptimizePress plugin and your own theme and find that when OptimizePress is activated your theme looks different or some functions are not working, please read on...

These issues can be caused by one of the following:

» Shortcode conflicts: This is where your theme and OptimizePress have one or more shortcodes with the same name. This can result in elements such as dividers not appearing correctly or styling being incorrect. Unfortunately issues such as this are very difficult to resolve because the shortcode names are coded into the platforms. In this case we would recommend considering installing OptimizePress on a subdomain or subdirectory install such as members.yourdomain.com (for a membership site) or yourdomain.com/lp for landing pages

» Other Codes Affecting Your Theme: This should not be an issue if you are using versions 2.5.1 or above. We have now removed any of our codes from rendering on your theme pages and posts where possible so our codes should not affect your site
