Members Subscription Element

The Member Subscriptions element allows you to show subscriptions that a member has purchased through OptimizeCheckouts on a member portal or online course page.

This element can also allow members to cancel their membership/subscription if you allow it within the product settings.

To learn more about how to use this element, watch the video below:

Add Element to the Page

To add the Member Subscription element to your page, click the + icon either on the top left or in the column you want to add it to. Then drag & drop it into your page. You can search for “Subscription” to find this element.

Once you add it to the page, you’ll be able to choose a preset style. More of these will be added later.

After selecting the preset (the default one always loads immediately anyways), you will see the Member Subscriptions toolbar.

How to turn off the Cancel button

We made it so the cancellation button can be turned off. We realize that some high ticket items you may wish to communicate directly with the client prior to them initiating a cancellation of their subscription.

Turning this off is on a per product basis in the checkouts plugin. Simply navigate to “Checkouts > Products” and edit a product. You’ll see on the Product Information screen, near the bottom, a way to turn this off:

Styling the Member Subscriptions element.

It’s quite simple to edit the element to suite your needs. Just click on what you would like to edit, and you’ll be presented with the toolbar for what you click on. For example, if I want to change the background color of the element header, I would click on that area, and then choose the background color:

You can also change the colors and font styles of all the text in the element. In the image below, I changed the header font color to white, and then on the subscription details I changed the font to Inter, and the size to 18 to make it look more noticeable.

You can also edit the cancel button font and color styles. Note that the cancel button is disabled if the subscription has already been cancelled, but it will still show with a opacity to make it look faded.

Note, that the status button color can not be changed – only the text options can be changed on that one.

Preview the Member Subscriptions Element

In order to see this on a live page, you’ll want to login as a user on your site that has a recurring subscription. Note that payment plans do not show on this element as they are not considered a subscription for this element.

Edit the Status Message

If a member does not have a subscription, or the page is viewed without being logged in, they will see a status message that informs them that they do not have a subscription.

To edit the status message, you’ll need to focus the main element by clicking “Member Subscription” at the top of the editor like you see here:

Then you’ll be able to click the toggle to edit the status message like this:

Frequently Asked Questions

Will the element show data from previous subscriptions that took place prior to this element being added to the platform?
Yes, all subscriptions will show on this element, even if they were from a long time ago.

When I edit on mobile, I do not see the table header or text from it. Why?
This is because the element reacts differently as the table headers are included beside each item like you see here:
