Why Would I want to change my funnel URLs?
A funnel should be a fine tuned lead generating, or sales producing series of pages. It’s always best practice to try to keep the URLs as user friendly as possible. If you want to get one of your SEO keywords or keyword phrases into your URL (such as product name or site name) you can certainly do that. Or, if you want to simply shorten the funnel URLs then you may do that as well.
The default funnel URLs like the example below are probably not the most user friendly:
https://opbeta.com/funnel/wellness-funnel/op3-page-63de85ea2a2e8/
There are 3 main parts of the funnel URL aside from the site URL.
The first part is /funnel/ which is the funnel slug. The 2nd part is the individual funnel’s slug, in this case that would be /wellness-funnel/. The last part, is the page in the funnel, which in this case is /op3-page-63de85ea2a2e8/
How to Change the Main Funnel URL Slug
First, you’ll go to “Funnels > Settings” from the left admin menu or the top Funnel Dashboard menu.
Then from the Settings page, you can change the prefix from “funnel” to whatever you would like. Then click the blue “Save” button to save the changes.
Your funnels should now be using the newly saved slug. Please check your funnels and be sure they are working as expected.
How to Change Individual Funnel’s URL Slug
Each individual funnel also has a URL slug that you can edit. To change this, you may go into the funnel and click “Settings”
You can change the funnel’s slug from the Settings page. Please be sure not to use any special characters or spaces in the slug.
Again, make sure your funnel loads fine and clear all cache after making this change.
How to Change Funnel Page URL Slugs
Each page in your funnel also has it’s own part of the funnel URL. To change the Page URL Slug, simply click “edit” and then click “Page Settings”
On the Page Settings screen, simply change the Page Slug. Be sure not to use special characters or spaces. Then click the green “Ok” button to save the changes.
Just make sure to clear cache again.
