Using Memberships to Protect Course Access

To protect access to your courses, you’ll want to setup Course Access Rules. To do this, you’ll want to go to “Mentor > Courses” and click “edit” on the course you want to protect. This is also required in order to setup a drip schedule as well.

On the Course Edit screen, on the top right, just click on “Course Access”

Next, click “Setup Membership Access”

If you already setup a membership, you may click the option for that here (otherwise, click the other option to create one)

Then just select the membership you want to protect the course with and click “Save”
NOTE: By default the “all content” option is selected, but you can turn that off if you want to protect only certain modules in a membership. Probably in most cases you’ll just leave it at the default as that will protect the entire course under that membership.

Once you have this option you can safely navigate to other parts of the OptimizeMentor Courses or other features of OptimizePress.

If you have any questions about how to protect your courses or membership content just reach out to use in support and we’ll be happy to help.
