The Course Progress Bar element can be used within the OptimizeMentor Course Builder. This will help your students and members know how they are progressing through the course content you have created. This is tied into the complete buttons on the lesson pages and will calculate and show the percentage of the course that has been completed. In the editor it will generally just show 50% as a way to give you an idea what it would look like.
To add the Course Progress Bar element, open the element sidebar and look under the Mentor Elements category.
Once you drag the element into the page, you’ll see all the normal progress bar element options, only the progress will automatically calculate depending on how many lessons are completed in the course.
The only differences from the normal progress bar is the element is setup already to use the dynamic data for course progress and moving the progress bar based on that information as well.
All of the other text is editable as well and can also use dynamic text, but we wouldn’t advise changing this much as it may not look great on smaller screens if there is too much text.
You can also edit 2 other Course State settings as well, which include “Not Started” and “Complete”, where you can edit the text that appears on the progress bar for when those states show for the member who is taking the course.
