In this tutorial, we’re going to walk you through how to create a Pop Overlay with a Checkout Optin Form.
1. Creating the Pop Overlay
Open your sales page with the OptimizeBuilder and click on the Pop Overlay icon at the top of the Builder window. Click the Create Opt-In Overlay button.
A new Pop overlay will launch to begin editing.
With the Pop Overlay created, remove the default opt in field as we will be replacing this with a checkout form.
Head over to the element options and select the Checkout Form element.
Drag it to the Pop Overlay area to embed the checkout form.
With your checkout form added. Give your Pop Overlay a name by going to the Pop General Options.
2. Assign your Product to the Checkout Form.
The next step is to add and assign the product you would like to sell to the checkout form.
To do this, click the checkout form area and navigate to the small trolley icon. Click the Checkout Options button.
A lightbox will appear with options to add your products and configure your checkout form.
Under the dropdown, select the product you would like to sell.
When you’re happy with your selection, click the green Next Step button.
Next, select which form fields you would like displayed on your checkout.
For this example, we’re going to leave the next options to default. Once you’re happy with your selections, click the green Close button to confirm.
3. Assign your Pop Overlay to a Button.
The final step is adding your newly created Pop Overlay to a call-to-action button on your sales page,
Click the button element you would like your Pop Overlay to appear to reveal the button settings.
Click the Link Icon to reveal the Link Action options.
Under the dropdown, select the Show Popup Overlay.
Finally, under the Pop Overlay Trigger dropdown, select your Popup Overlay.
