Using the Checkout Form Element

In this tutorial, we’re going to walk you through how to use the Checkout form in OptimizePress Builder.

Please Note: You will be required to have the Suite plan in order to see and use the OptimizeCheckout features.

To get started, open a page you would like to insert your checkout form to OptimizeBuilder.

Next, scroll down the side elements listings and under Cart Elements, select the Checkout Form element

Drag the element to the area of your page you would like it embedded.

A lightbox will appear to set your product and what fields you would like included on the form.

Select the product you have created from the Select Your Product dropdown. Alternatively, you can also add a new product by clicking on the blue Add New Product link on the top right corner.

Once you’re happy with your selection, click on the green Next Step button.

You will be taken to the Checkout Form Fields section. Here, you will be able to select which form fields to display on your checkout form.

We recommend using as few fields as possible as this will reduce cart bounces and encourage buyers to complete the order.

With your options selected, click the Next Step button as before.

You will be shown a confirmation screen of the setup process.

Confirm the selection and the checkout form by clicking the green Close button.

Your checkout form will now be nicely displayed on your page to edit and customize.

In this example, we’re going to customize a few notable areas to better fit the style of the page. In this case, the button size and colour.

Hover and select the button to display the button settings. Click the button arrow icon followed by the Sizing tab.

Under Button Size, select the M option.

This will change the size of the payment button.

To change the button colour, you will simply need to click on the Palette icon in the button settings and display a colour palette. Here, you will be able to set the colour of the element.
