Settings – Integrate Stripe Test Mode

In this tutorial, we’re going to walk you through how to integrate your Stripe account in Test mode.

Please Note: We’re going to assume that you have already set up a free Stripe account. If you have yet to do this, please be sure to create one by clicking on the link below and signing up for an account.

To get started, head over to OptimizeCheckouts > Settings

Under Payment Gateways, click on the blue Connect button under Stripe Test Mode.

Click the grey Connect Stripe in Test Mode button.

You will be taken to a Stripe Connect screen prompting you to select an account to connect to. Click the blue Connect button and login with your username and password.

Once logged in, you will be taken back to the Checkout Settings Payment Gateways dashboard to proceed to the next steps.

Click on the Edit button on your connected Stripe account and review the instructions provided.

Copy the Test Endpoint URL and head over to your Stripe account.

Inside your Stripe account, click on the Developers link on the top bar navigation window on the main dashboard.

Please Note: Ensure that you set the dashboard to Test using the toggle provided before creating your new Test Endpoint.

Click on the Webhooks link on the left navigation bar and add a new endpoint by clicking on the + New Endpoint button.

You will be shown a Stripe Events window.

In the Test Endpoint URL field, paste in the URL that you copied earlier from the OptimizeCheckouts Payment Gateway settings.

Nest, click the blue + Select Events button.

An event list will display, click the Select all events check box and click the blue Add Events button.

Scroll down to the bottom of the page and click the blue Add Endpoint button.

Click on the Reveal link on the new Endpoint created to reveal the Signing secret key.

Copy the key provided.

Finally, head back to OptimizeCheckouts > Settings > Payment Gateways and paste in the Test Signing Secret in the field provided.

Click the blue Update button to confirm.
