Create & Configure Visitor Alert Count

In this quick tutorial, we’re going to walk you through how to create and set up a Visitor Alert Count in OptimizeUrgency.

To do this, click on OptimizeUrgency in the WordPress menu and add a new Visitor Count from the alert types.

Give your alert a name and save the alert by clicking on the blue Create & Continue button.

Your new alert should now be listed on the main dashboard.

The process to set up the display and design settings will be the same and recommend going through the tutorials in the knowledgebase.

We’ve included links to these tutorials below:

The content configuration settings will be slightly different and will require putting in the content you would like displayed for each alert manually.

For this configuration, the number you set will determine how many visitors will need to visit your site before your alert is displayed.

We generally recommend using this alert type if you have a website with a lot of traffic.

A minimum of 1000 unique visits a day is generally a great traffic number to aspire to.

Once you’ve added your list of entries, click the blue Save & Continue button to confirm.

Your alert is now set up and ready to display on your website.
