Create & Configure Blog Post Alert

In this tutorial, we’re going to walk you through how to create and set up a Blog Post Alert in OptimizeUrgency.

To do this, click on OptimizeUrgency in the WordPress menu and add a new Blog Post Alert from the alert types.

Give your alert a name and save the alert by clicking on the blue Create & Continue button.

Your new alert should now be listed on the main dashboard.

The process to set up the display and design settings will be the same and recommend going through the tutorials in the knowledgebase.

We’ve included links to these tutorials below:

The content configuration settings will be slightly different and will require putting in the content you would like displayed for each alert manually.

The alert content configuration can be mainly kept to default. But if you require that your alert boxes don’t display on specific posts, you can exclude them by selecting the post from the dropdown provided.

You can also choose to turn on or off links and the featured image of your blog posts by using the toggles provided.

Once you’re happy with the settings, click the blue Save & Continue button to confirm.

Your alert is now set up and ready to display on your website.
