How the overlay panels work

TUTORIAL AIM: In this tutorial, we’re going to cover the different overlay panels and how they each work.

When first creating a new optin, you will be presented with an overlay with the option to select three Overlay Panel styles. Each of these panel styles are fully editable:

Please Note: You can also select these options by clicking on the element inside the visual editor. Also note that depending on the style of optin you have selected, some of these optin panels may be locked, which means they are unavaliable.

Each optin panel serves a different purpose:

Intro Panel
This is generally used to prequalify your visitors by getting them to take an action prior to optin. This is great for increasing engagement and getting more active leads. The intro panel commits the visitors to taking action thus resulting in higher conversion rates when you present an opt-in form.

Main Panel
This is your default optin box design as you will have seen it when selecting your design. This will be switched on by default with all optin styles.

Thank You Panel
This is used for thanking your subscribers for opting into your email list, you can also provide them with information as to any next steps they may need to take.

Here’s how each of the panels look using the ‘
Crowd‘ popup box design:
