OptimizeCheckouts allows you to include upload files which will be provided by our files download element (if added to the thank you page) for buyers of your products.
By default, you can upload any file type supported by WordPress. This includes:
- Zip Files

Be aware that depending on your hosting provider, some of these file types may be limited for security reasons. You are also limited by your own hosting webspace and bandwidth – so if you have problems uploading larger files (e.g. video) this may be the cause.
Problems uploading larger files
Your own file upload limit might also trigger a stop on uploading files to your file downloads. If you go to Media > Add New at the bottom of that screen you’ll see your current site file upload limit:
You can increase this limit by changing the settings in your WP-Config file – contact your hosting company to assist with this.
