Affiliate Commissions Questions

We’ve put together this short guide to help you understand how our commission payouts work and answer the questions that our affiliate team regularly answer

When will I receive my commissions/payment?

Payments are only sent when your affiliate commissions total reaches $100 or more in DUE commissions. This means all sales that make up those commissions are outside of their 30-day refund policy.  Payments are made once per month, typically on the 1st-3rd of each month depending on holidays.

This means if you earn $100 in commissions in June, these would typically be paid out in the commissions payment at the start of August (because they were not outside their 30 day refund period by the 1st July).

What happens to commissions I have commissions in your old affiliate platform?

If you have commissions earned in our old affiliate systems, we will still consider these when making a payout. We are not able to show these in your new dashboard as only new commissions will show there, but all these commissions are taken into account when calculating commission payouts.

We cannot issue payouts for amounts under $100 left in older affiliate platforms – you should join our new affiliate system and once you have total commissions over the $100 (combined) due, we will action a payout.

Where do I update my Paypal for Payment

If you are registered in our new FirstPromoter affiliate system, you can do this in your dashboard. The address here will be used first in the event that you have commissions from older systems
You can also let our team know of your best Paypal address for payment. Please note it is your responsiibility to notify us of any changes to your payout address. Commissions sent to older addresses cannot be retrieved unless they are automatically returned to us by Paypal

How can I get paid if I don’t have PayPal?

Currently, PayPal is our main supported payout method.  If you have a large number of commissions outstanding ($500 or more) we may be able to issue payment via bank transfer (depending on your location). Check with our support team at team@optimizepress.com for more information (additional bank charges may apply)
