Smart Theme v3 Optin Forms – Form Location Settings

This tutorial will show you the different locations on your site where you can insert your SmartTheme optin forms. In case you haven’t integrated your Email Marketing Service to your SmartTheme installation, you may check out this link first.

Optin Form locations’ settings can be found under Appearance >> Theme Options >> Optin Forms. 

SmartTheme allows you to enable optin forms on the following locations of your site:

• Homepage – enable Optins on your Blog Homepage.
• Posts – enable Optins on your Blog Posts.
• Pages – enable Optins on your regular WordPress Pages.
• Archive – enable Optins on your site’s Archive section.
• Search – enable Optins on your Search page.
• 404 – enable Optins on your 404 page.
• Widget – enable Optins on your Widget section.

Each locations allow you to set an Optin form on the following sections:

1. After Header – Optin will be displayed right After your Header section.

   

2. After Hero – Optin will be displayed right after Hero section.

   

3. Before Footer – Optin will be displayed just before Footer section.

   

To setup your Optins default settings, here are the steps:

1. Go to Appearance >> Theme Options >> Optin Forms.
2. Select the location where you would want the Optin to be displayed.
3. Select the section (After Header, After Hero, Before Footer).
4. Toggle to Enable.
5. Setup the Optin Integration and Style.
6. Save Changes.

To customize Optins on individual posts or pages, here are the steps:

1. Go to the specific posts or page edit option.
2. Ensure you’ve enabled the Custom Theme Options.
3. Choose Default or Custom setup.
4. Save changes.
