The headline element is an essential tool in creating a page. Using the OptimizePress Builder, adding a headline is very simple and straightforward.

Adding the Headline Element

To add a headline to your page, just click the +Elements found at the top left of your OptimizeBuilder. Locating the headline element is easy since this is among the top elements you can see in the elements section.

Simply drag-and-drop this element to place this into your page.

Editing the Headline Element Text

To edit the default or existing text in the headline element, just click on the text to be able to write your own text. You can also only highlight the particular text your want to replace and type over it.

Copy and Paste Text From External Document

In case you want to paste your text from a document or other source, simply use the CTRL + V (Windows) or COMMAND + V (Mac), as the case maybe. Alternatively, hold the SHIFT key down on your keyboard, right click to access the default browser menu and just paste the text

Styling the Headline Element

The headline element offers numerous choices of customization. To customize the font, alignment and styles of your text, you can play around with the headline settings which are shown below.

Click the icon T to customize the font style and size of your text. In the first tab, it allows you to configure the font family and font weight of your text.

To control the size, line height and letter spacing of your text, just go to the Size tab.

You can also find more options in the Styling tab.

Go to the Colour Options to change the color and/or set a background color of your text.

To change the alignment of your text, just click the icon for Text Align.

You may further customize your text by adding a shadow on it. All you need to do is to click the box icon.

Other customization options are available in the Settings and Advanced Options.

Highlighted Text Styling Options

You can highlight text to change the styling of only some text in the Headline element. Go to T icon to configure the text to bold, italize, underline or add a strikethrough effect of your text.

You may also add a link to a specific or some text. Just click the link icon.

You may also control the color of a specific text by going to the text color icon. You can additionally set a gradient text color in this setting. Specific details on how to use the gradient feature, go to this article.

You may also add a background color to some of your text. Just click the paint bucket icon.

Headline Animations

Further, you can add animations and other effects to a particular text. Just go to the Animation Options.

You can choose either set a drawing line or rotating text:

And further select the animation style:
