Kit Integration (Formerly Convertkit)

This tutorial will show you how to integrate with Kit using our API integration on OP3:

Please note as of January 7th, 2025, you will need to re-integrate with the new “Kit” integration under “OptimizePress >> Integrations” – You will need to use the new API v4 API key from within your Kit developer settings.

Part 1: Get ConvertKit API Key and API Secret

After you logon to your ConvertKit account, you’ll see a dashboard similar to this:

Your API Key and API Secret can be found by navigating to “Account Settings” under “Account Info”

Grab the API Key and API Secret.

Part 2: Setup integration inside of the OptimizePress Dashboard

Logon to your WordPress admin, and navigate to the “OptimizePress 3” tab on the left side then go to “Integrations”

Click the “Add New Service Integration” button

You can then easily find the service you wish to integrate with by typing into the search box, or scrolling down through the various integrations:

Hover over “ConverKit” and you’ll see a “Connect” button to click

You’ll then see fields to enter integration credentials

Insert API Key and API Secret then click the ‘Add New Service Integration’ button to save information.

You should see a success message similar to this one after saving your integration settings

You have now integrated ConvertKit with OptimizePress 3.

You may now use this integration by adding an Opt-in Form element in the OptimizePress Builder.
